My most Beloved, Precious and Everlasting Father!
Thank you for this day, for everything you have prepared, for all the lessons carefully orchestrated for us all to harvest. Open, Father the eyes or our understanding so none of your efforts will go unnoticed before our eyes. That we live this day with reverence to you and praise on our lips for the miracle of being alive.
Because you are the holder of our days, you control the clocks of our lives. So Father help us to wake up in awe of you and go to sleep with our hearts overwhelming in gratitude.
That we do not take our days for granted but cherish every moment as a gift of grace and wonder, savoring the minutes in your presence and seeing you walk ahead opening the way and besides us; holding us by the hand as you gently whispers into our spirit with the calming and peaceful small voice guiding us according to your will.
So I ask you my Precious Father, increase my sensitivity to perceive your Spirit as it carries me like a breeze. Cleanse me Father of anything that hinders my witness walk, so that I can always be a channel of your light bringing hope and guiding the blind out of darkness. Let my life be about delighting in understanding your ways than trying to see how you will satisfy mine. Let my will perish and yours prevail. Let the desires of my flesh be buried and let my spirit soar to your heights; grant me Father wings of greater understanding and revelations that expands my heart vision to your sight.
Strengthen the foundations of my identity in you, so I become more each day about your kingdom and discern that the things we see in this world are but scenarios built for the maturing of my spiritual, emotional and mental existence. Help me detach from the things of this world and anchor my hope and dreams in you. Help me raise my gaze to your heart, so I can treasure what you treasure; and pursue what delights you!
Let love be the currency of my life and gratitude the language of my heart. Let faith be my everlasting shield and peace my greatest companion, truth my moral compass and righteousness the mantle of my actions. And your Word,...ah your Word... let that be my song, my victory, my delight!
