Many of us have already heard the saying that fear is a bad advisor, right? But how many of us actually know what the Bible says about fear and what God tells us about how to deal with it?!
In Isaiah 41:10 it is written:
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’All glory to our beloved Lord and Father who understands us and knows our afflictions. God knows our enemies; but God is Lord over all things, nothing is too big for the Lord to handle, nothing is impossible for the Lord.
In 2 timothy 1:7 it says:
" For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." NKJV
That means that fear is a spirit, so God is not the author of fear but that is a tactic of the enemy to keep us bound and oppressed. God gives us a spirit of Love and Power; that means that we need to focus on the goodness that God provides us and give no room for the enemy to prevail. Hosea 4:6a God warns us: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge,"
The knowledge God is referring to here is his Word . When we do not know what his Holy book says, when we do not live by his commands and stand firm on his promises then we become easy prey for the enemy to attack our minds, our hearts and make us vulnerable to his plots.
When Jesus was in the desert for 40 days, he was tempted by Satan, and every time he was provoked Jesus responded with the power of the Scriptures. Satan also knows the scriptures, the question is, do you?
How are we to defend ourselves against his oppression if we are not equipped with the Word, if we lack the knowledge and are unaware of the promises? God says in the Bible:
Ephesians 4:27 "and do not give an opportunity to the devil." In Ephesians 6:11 He goes further to say "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." The phrase do not fear, or do not be afraid is mentioned 365 times in the Bible, that is our daily reminder from God, that we do not need to fear, because God is on our side, so what do you need to do to be on the side of God? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If not please, don't wait any longer, turn to him because as you have seen, he does not want us to perish, he wants to restore his children for the original purpose, to have eternal life and walk in love with him. God stands for all that is good.
When you read the book of Genesis, the part where God created the world, after each day, God reflected on his creation and said it was good. God is goodness, God is love and if you have not experienced his presence and his love, then you are missing out on the most important and significant experience you are to have in this life; this is the turning point where once you accept him in your life and his Spirit comes to live in you, that's when you become a new creation.
A lot of people choose not to believe in the spiritual world, or Satan or heaven and hell. Like I wrote in my previous post, choosing not to believe does not make it disappear, it just makes you a very easy prey, and unwise.
Quantum physics today, challenges the solid view of our world and matter, it shows that what we thought was real is only so when you are observing it. In the Bible, it was written over 2000 years ago that we believers should live by faith, not by sight. It only took science 2 millennia to start to grasp these concepts and yet much of the world's population is still living in denial or total ignorance thereof.
God has a plan, and I ask you, do you want to be part of his plan? do you want to know your part in it? He has a plan for all of us, we are all equally as important. He wants to give you freedom, as he says that the Truth shall set you free!
So if you are ready to embark on this journey then please invite and accept Jesus in your life today, then read this following text out loud, believing in your heart that he is real and that you are ready to get to know him, that you want to see him move in your life. Take this moment between you and him and open your heart to receive the most sublime form of Love there is. Remember, He is the only way to the Father. "He is the Way, the Truth and the Life."( John 14:6)"
Pray this:
" Dear Lord Jesus,
Come into my heart, forgive me of my sins, wash me, cleanse me, set me free. Jesus thank you that you died for me, I believe that you have risen from the dead and that you are coming back again for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit; give me a passion for the lost and a hunger for the things of God, give me a holy boldness to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am saved, I am born again, I am forgiven and I am on my way to heaven because I have Jesus in my heart." Amen
If you have prayed this prayer, as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I tell you today that God has forgiven you of all your sins, you have been given a new life in Him. That's not my power but his Grace.
