There is nothing more profound, more overwhelming, more peaceful and powerful than to experience his love in his presence. Knees bow, tears flow like rivers of joy and gratitude, undeserving honour, loved like no other...That's how I feel every time I come into his presence.
My Beloved Father, what an honour is to be chosen, to be loved by you despite my flaws and shortcomings, because your love is not dependent on my actions or good deeds but it is unconditional, flawless, immense, perfect and powerful just like you.
Father I pray that many turn to you because to come to this life and not experience this love, it is like to not have lived at all, it's missing the most important journey, it is losing the biggest chance of knowing what love really is. It's the most incredible encounter because it quenches the thirst of the spirit, it fills the void of the soul and in that moment it floods you with a sea of inner peace like sunshine after the storm.
John 16:22 NLT
So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.Father, are we afraid of you? Are we afraid to be loved? Are we afraid that we are not lovable? Are we afraid to lose ourselves? Are we afraid of what we don't know? Because as I search for the answers to those questions once I have had the honor of your presence, none of those questions matter, because when you are near theres' no fear, when you are there nothing else matters, it's just eternity in one minute, it's infinity in space. It is like arriving at the top of a mountain and realizing that your life is beyond your own understanding.
So then comes the why? Why not give you chance? Why not take the time to get to know you? Why miss the opportunity of a lifetime, of eternal life, of true bliss, of endless peace? Why miss the chance to learn from the Maker of Wisdom, to be loved by the Creator of Love, to befriend the King of kings? Why throw away the ticket to eternity? Why not meet Truth and Joy and live in Grace and Peace?
Why do we run away? What keeps us blind? What is blocking the truth? Why do we keep on hurting ourselves? All you have ever done, is to show us the way, the way to love, the way to peace, the way to eternal life, the way to compassion, to kindness. Is our minds so distorted that we can't seem to grasp the truth. That we would rather be sold lies and live in constant fear and chaos; when 2000 years ago you had already shown how much you love us by sending your only son to die for us; he was the example of how to live with kindness, how to love one another, how to live in harmony, how to purify your heart, how to live in freedom... Instead, we failed to understand that by choosing to pursue the pleasures of the flesh is what slavery means. So we run this rat race of pseudo freedom, where we lie to ourselves everyday pretending to be happy.
John 15:22-25 NLT
22 They would not be guilty if I had not come and spoken to them. But now they have no excuse for their sin.23 Anyone who hates me also hates my Father.24 If I hadn’t done such miraculous signs among them that no one else could do, they would not be guilty. But as it is, they have seen everything I did, yet they still hate me and my Father.25 This fulfills what is written in their Scriptures[a]: ‘They hated me without cause.’
I urge those who can hear, those whose hearts are longing for such encounter; it is everything that you have ever dreamt of and more...
