He is El Shaddai

In Hebrew, El Shaddai means “The God Who Is More Than Enough.” He is the All-Sufficient One. The New King James Bible translates El Shaddai as the “Almighty God.” (Genesis 17: 1, 35:11).

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. (Gen. 17:1 NKJV)

Also God said to him: “I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body. (Gen.35:11 NKJV)

In all his promises, God is faithful and undeniable about who He is and what He stands for. His righteousness, faithfulness are to be read in His word and seen all around, for the Bible says in Isaiah (6:3 NKJV):

And one cried to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”

Many are the trials we will come to face in this life, but God or better said our Beloved Father in heaven never said that we needed to do it alone. In fact, much the opposite; for the bible is full of His promises that He never leaves nor forsakes us, that nothing can separate us from His love, that He is not a respecter of persons which means that in whatever way He has helped his other children He will do it for you. For He is a father that cares, and He cares deeply for in Matthew (6:25-27 NKJV) He says:

 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

Despite that the lies of this world preaching on self sufficiency and independence, where we strive in our daily lives to overcome the turbulent waters of circumstances beyond our control; our heavenly Father asks of us to surrender and let Him take control.

"casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."(1 Peter 5:7 NKJV)

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV)

As we read this wonderful invitation to let go into His hands; that as God almighty He can do all things; not only take care of you but all the cares that are robbing you of your joy in Him.

Learning to trust God our Father, with our afflictions and anxieties can be a difficult task for many whose lives, were imprinted with a load of heavy responsibility and when they did not know Christ, and even if some did know; religion made them believe it was not for all that He would extend His mercy.

So many of us, walked through life with a feeling that we were not worthy of deserving that all abounding grace that God gives to His children. Despite at times seeing His glory at work in our own lives, we may have felt that it was a one off chance. That yes He can show His goodness but still you have to continue proving yourself worthy of His fatherhood and mercy on you.

But that could not be further from the Truth, for it is not our limiting beliefs that determines how much our loving heavenly Father is willing to do for us, but it is His perfect Love natures that care for us with unconditional love, which relentlessly is seeking to bless and rewards us.

"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written:

“He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”

10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you.
15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!" (2 Cor. 9:8-15 NKJV)

I sincerely hope that you find in these scriptures the encouragement and peace needed to surrender into His loving arms. For in our weaknesses we are made strong, as He always shows up to save us. He was and is willing to help you; all you have to do is put your trust in Him. When I face trials today; I feel his presence in my life by the Peace He grants me despite the circumstances. This Peace He bought with a very high price, His own life, His own blood. So receive this Peace and let Him guide you through your life storms. For He is and forever will be The God Almighty!

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV)
